Since our foundation, more than 70% of our projects have been commercial and institutional in nature for enlargements, renovations and upgrades, both small and large in size. In addition to institutional projects, approximately 20% of the projects that our company carries out are of a commercial nature, for renowned clients such as Proxim pharmacies, Garage Julien Bédard Inc, the National Bank and also for commercial buildings of all kinds. We are actively involved in building restoration work as well.

Our success and our know-how over the past 5 years have enabled us to offer the construction of Butler steel buildings and thus offer turnkey projects for our customers in eastern Quebec.

This allows our entire team to be on the same page and to be able to significantly reduce misunderstandings, errors and increase the role of our project managers to ensure that deadlines, costs and other aspects that our management team must check for the realization of projects.

Concrètement utilisation de logiciel comme L’estimateur, Dreeven, Microsoft Project et maintenant Smart Use, nos équipes de travail utilisent les outils les plus avancés de l’industrie et vise à augmenter la communication, la productivité et rendre le travail bien fait. L’ajout du logiciel Smart Use rend accessible à tous les intervenants reliés au projet, les plans, les devis et tous autres documents essentiels à la réalisation du projet. Les personnes reliées au projet sont maintenant tous impliqués par la voie électronique de tous les changements qui surviennent au chantier en temps réel.

Choosing a family business is also evocative of the transmission of skills and qualities from a young age. Thus, Denis Plamondon was very young when he was first trained on the practices and methods needed to undertake large-scale projects. His father was a real experienced mentor who passed on his know-how and his entrepreneurial approach to him. Parmi ces regroupements, on retrouve la Corporation des entrepreneurs généraux du Québec CEGQ, Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ) pour ne nommer que ceux-là.

Aujourd’hui,  le fils de Denis Plamondon, Vincent, est dans le rôle que Denis avait à ses débuts. Vincent occupe des postes clés à l’intérieur de Construction Jean Paul Plamondon Inc. et possède le sens des affaires qui permettent à l’entreprise de connaître un nouvel essor et une belle réussite dans les nouveaux contrats, mais aussi pour l’approche technologique qu’ils apportent à leur tour au sein de Constructions Jean Paul Plamondon Inc.

Environment

Our company is concerned about the environment and plays a part in alleviating our burden by providing sites with closed containers which are taken to sorting centers. Several of our employees have been trained to protect and secure contaminated sites (e.g. asbestos, etc.).  Plusieurs de nos employés ont été formés pour la protection et la sécurisation des chantiers contaminés (ex. amiante…).
